Labour Day is an annual holiday to celebrate the hard work and achievement. Its origins in the labour union movement, specifically the eight-hour day movement, which advocated eight hours for work.
That's why here at DPS we had a special assembly to celebrate this day, by awareness mixed with fun. Where the students performed plays to explain the labor day and its importance, as well as thanking DPS staff for their hard work. The school wouldn't exist without them as a student from class 5 said "it'll be just a normal building"
A Thank you cards hand writing by our students Class 1&2 were distributed in the whole school to knowledge the hard work of their school staff.
